#Hosting and server logs

When you open a page, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data. Without it, a website cannot be delivered securely.

#Contact and demo forms

When you use the contact or demo form, we process the details you provide. We also store the time of receipt and the browser identifier to detect misuse.

The legal basis is the consent you give in the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Where a contract or pre-contractual steps are concerned, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR applies as well.

The details are stored on our server and forwarded to the responsible team. We delete the details once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention duties apply.

A hidden field in the form helps detect automated submissions. It processes no additional data about you.

#Contact by email

If you email us, we process your address and the content of your message in order to reply. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries.

#Applications

If you send an unsolicited application, we process your details and any documents you send in order to decide on an employment relationship. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

If we do not end up working together, we delete your documents after the process ends, once no claims can be made from it any more. We keep them longer, for example for future positions, only with your consent.

#Search

The search runs in your browser. When you open it, the page loads an index of all content from our server. Your input is not sent to a search service.

The search term appears in the address of the results page. Like any requested address, it can therefore show up in the server logs.

#No trackers, no third-party content

This website uses no analytics, advertising or tracking services. Nothing is stored on your device beyond what is technically required to deliver the page.

Fonts, images and videos are delivered from our own server. No third-party content is embedded or loaded.

Links to other websites open in a new tab. Only once you follow such a link does the privacy notice of that provider apply.

#Recipients and third countries

Your data is not sold and not passed on for advertising. The only recipients are the hosting provider and, if you use a form, the email service provider. Contracts under Art. 28 GDPR are in place with processors.

Univerx LLC is based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred there, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR.

#Your rights

You can exercise your rights at any time using the postal address above or the contact form.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the alleged infringement.

We update this policy when the processing changes. As of: November 2026. This English version is provided for convenience; the German version is authoritative.
